Studio beta terms

The Krowshea Studio is in beta. These short terms apply when the owner gives your account the Studio and you accept them on your account page. They sit alongside the privacy notice.

Your patterns are yours

Everything you write, chart or save in the Studio belongs to you. Krowshea claims no rights in it. Using the Studio does not make your work Krowshea’s, and Krowshea won’t use it to make patterns of its own.

What we store, and why

Your projects, Library parts, yarns, stitch groups and your place in Make it are saved in your browser and, so you can use them on another device, in your Krowshea account (Krowshea’s private Firebase database). They are stored to sync your work and to check it in the Studio, and for nothing else. Krowshea doesn’t publish or share them, never uses them to train AI, and looks at them only if you ask for help with a problem. The Studio has no analytics.

Nothing is published

Nothing you make in the Studio is shown to anyone else. You choose what to download: your pattern’s code (.krow), the written pattern, charts and printouts.

Deleting your work or your account

Delete projects and parts in the Studio at any time. They wait in Recently deleted for a while, in case you change your mind, then they’re removed from your browser and your account.

You can delete your whole account at any time: choose Delete your account on your account page. That removes everything saved to it (your Studio work, your place on the beta list, any test reports and photos) and your sign-in. It can’t be undone. The copy in your browser stays until you clear it.

It’s a beta

Krowshea can take back Studio access, or delete a beta account and the work saved in it, at any time. The copy in your browser isn’t touched.

The Studio will change, sometimes in ways you’ll notice, and it may close for a while or go away. Keep copies of anything you can’t lose: use Download .krow, or Projects › Download backup. Each beta account has room for a few hundred projects and parts; the Studio tells you if yours is full.

The Studio is free during the beta. If paid plans come later, we’ll say so before anything changes for you, and nothing is charged without your agreement.

Telling us what you find

If something is wrong, confusing or broken, email hello@krowshea.com. That’s how we hear from beta members; the Studio doesn’t watch what you do.
